but the length was perfect; so I went up a size

I bought this coat after trying it on at Columbia. Very warm with the Omni-Heat liner! I was warm at 0° weather! I have two complaints: first, the large size was a bit tight, but the length was perfect; so I went up a size. Well, the XL size is now too big and too long - it looks out of place. Second, the hood does not roll into a collar. It's easy to pull. While many like this feature, I don't like it because I have to take it off (and risk losing it) and either leave it at home or occupy my…

The Columbia brand stands for quality

This is my second Columbia coat. My parents bought me my first coat in high school and it lasted me for 16 glorious years. Being a tall guy, I was afraid of the thought of buying a coat of the same quality that would fit me, so I chose Columbia. I found exactly the coat I wanted in a large and tall store for $350 but one size smaller. I ended up finding exactly the coat I wanted on Amazon, the right size, and almost $150 cheaper than in store. I'm obsessed with this coat, it keeps me warm in…

Columbia Men's Lhotse II Interchange Jacket

The jacket is well made and lightweight. While I often have issues with jackets being too small and tight in the chest and shoulders, this was not the case with this jacket. I have good freedom of movement in the jacket and don't feel restricted. The jacket is quite long, which makes it very difficult to get the car keys in the pockets. It would have been ideal if the jacket was a little shorter at the front and longer at the back. I also wish the velcro straps were facing down instead of up…

Very happy with the purchase!

Most worn reflective lining, very comfortable and cozy. It has a zippered chest pocket and a mesh pocket on the inside right. The temperature rarely dropped below 30 degrees. At low temperatures, the jacket and lining are very warm. Great look, well finished, I am very happy with my purchase.

Definitely keeps you warm

I've been wearing this jacket for about a month now. So far I have been very happy with this jacket and its behavior in cold weather. I use this jacket as a casual winter jacket. This jacket keeps everything covered even in bad weather. The hood can be adjusted and lengthened as needed, and the back flap can protect you once you sit on a wet surface. Definitely repels rain and snow and does not allow moisture to penetrate the material.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

  • Clarity

Don't let the price fool you, this is a functional, warm jacket system

For skiing, I've always used a two-layer system, even though my "system" consisted of two different elements, such as: B. black thin fleece combined with a winter jacket. Has always worked great. This jacket uses this concept, although the inner layer is not fleece. I wasn't sure if I would like this pair but I have to tell you it all works. Depending on the weather, I wear a coat or both when it's very cold. In fact, the inner layer is great for the city as long as it's not too cold or too…

Very versatile coat

This really is a year round coat. With the liner removed, you can wear it comfortably in spring, summer (rain) and fall. A very warm lining is only required at temperatures below 32 degrees. A piece of advice: never wash this coat. The coat has a water-repellent treatment that can be washed off. Simply wipe off if necessary. Don't let the low price fool you, this is a really good coat!

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Seniors

There really is no comparable product at a price from other brands. You get a waterproof zip-up jacket in an insulated lining to withstand any weather conditions you may encounter. It's not ultra light and you pay a lot more for it, but it's a great option for walking outdoors in inclement weather. It's a bit bulky for hiking and that's the only reason I don't rate it 5 stars.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not that breathable.

Nice jacket. I bought the green one but had to send it back. I already have other Columbia jackets and am very happy with them. Unfortunately, this one didn't feel breathable at all. After a few minutes I started sweating. I thought it was a "reflective liner". Tried with a regular liner from another jacket. Same results. As I am very short tempered I had to send it back. If you feel cold most of the time, this is for you. The cuffs were also missing.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Expensive
