Terrible quality. for Athletic

Bought for work. I am a delivery driver. After about a month, they fall apart and holes appear in them. I thought Columbia was a good brand. I do not think so.

Pros
  • Hands-free control
Cons
  • Available in white only

These shoes are comfortable and don't require breaking in, but I wouldn't recommend them for hot weather. As others have pointed out, these shoes get pretty hot, and the only thing that saved me was wearing wool socks (even so, in 70 degree weather, my feet get really hot). These shoes also started falling apart on the front within the first week of wearing (see pics) and I just missed the deadline to return it :-( (poor quality should have a longer return policy)

Pros
  • Best in class

  • Not sure

DO NOT BUY THESE Running Products

I got them for a trip to Hawaii to walk in the wet and muddy forest. After my second hike on the descent I noticed a tear, IN THE PICTURE ABOVE like I'm wearing them second day shoes and they are so torn maybe they would actually be better quality if they didn't outsource to China $ in Black Friday and now they are $100 WOW Colombia what a rip off. I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE unless you only use them as a van. 😂 Terrible shoes they all return dirty and that's inappropriate because I feel bad…

My fifth or sixth pair

What can I say? They fit my foot well (tall but narrow) (US14). So they're probably skinny if I like them (there's a wide fit version). They're light and not so bulky (who needs to brake, accelerate and clutch at the same time?) They're waterproof (except when it's raining, but the shoe can't be faulted. The 2 version is the same as the V1. Maybe a bit done better.. I had a pair of brown V1s that peeled in the sock (in the desert in 90F heat) Never had a problem with lighter shades of brown…

Very nice but buy a size up - and definitely NOT waterproof

These shoes feel great but when I bought the size based on the size chart and size chart (which gave my usual shoe size 10, with a little more room). ), they were too tight at the toes. I have a wide foot so I found the toe box to be too narrow to be comfortable although the length of the shoe was ok. I exchanged them for a size up (11) and they are comfortable and fit me. I will verify that they are indeed waterproof and will update my review if I find that this department is missing (which is

Not as good as Original Redmonds

My Original Redmonds lasted a year and were $30 less. This couple started breaking up at 7 weeks. On Monday a small 1 inch tear appeared in the upper on the sole and on Friday it was the horror show pictured. I do not pass through the razor-sharp rocks of Emyn Muil on my way to Mordor. No, I only walk three miles a day on Baltimore's dubious but often harmless sidewalks. These were my everyday shoes (I wear heavy and reliable Doc Marten steel-toed boots to work) but now they hardly deserve to…

The perfect bad weather shoe

I was looking for a waterproof cool weather hiking shoe that could be used for light hikes in the woods. They are perfect and have become my go-to shoe for bad weather any time of the year. Whenever the weather is bad and I need traction and protection and don't want my feet to get wet I walk in these shoes. They're lightweight, water-resistant to the ankle (extensively tested) and easy to slip on every time without lacing and knotting (I use a shoehorn to make things easier). Great price too…

Narrower, smaller and shorter than the previous average camper. (Photo)

Before reading the review, just look at the photos for comparison. My old shoes are 13Regular and my new shoes are 14Wide. The old boot is both wider and longer. Today they return. I was looking forward to them being a great replacement for the previous Columbia Mid hikers which wore out after about 2 years of use. Although I ordered them a size larger and wider, they are a size smaller and the same width as my old boots. My old boots are actually wider and normal width. If you expect them to…

Absolutely not waterproof. Be careful

I bought these boots for shoveling snow and walking in the rain because of the "waterproof" claim. I also wanted to use them for a light walk in the woods. Advantages. Great fit, comfortable, very supportive, light weight, great grip, good looking. minuses. Absolutely not waterproof. I took my first walk in the rain with them after using them 4 or 5 times to brush some snow and when I got home my toes were wet. I thought water leaked somewhere. Remember that they are mostly new and…
