Nice coat, but overall it didn't fit us. Reduced price because the seams did not allow the zip to be fully closed. When we zipped it up as high as we could (almost all the way) we couldn't fit the hood over my baby's big head! First the hood worked, and then the zipper, but that's not always practical.

Perfect for my 12, almost 13 year old who's going through the "I'm too cool for a winter coat" phase. Before this coat, there was a struggle to get him to leave the house in anything other than a hoodie as a coat. No more arguing, because it's not huge and bulky, but still warm like a traditional coat. Happy mother, happy son.

I buy Columbia coats for my boys every year. My youngest son wears the jacket my eldest son wore last year with no problem. However, my eldest son is wearing this new jacket for the first time. With very little use and no washing there are loose drawstrings over the hood and zip. He hardly wore it. Columbia products tend to last longer.
