I've been watching this coat since I saw it before the winter season. However, I did not pay the retail price of $220! After the season, Revain bought it for half the retail price. Very pleased - this is the perfect coat if you are taller (5ft 8in or taller) as it covers the back and thigh area. The coat lining is actually decent too. Sometimes they are too weak to use alone. First of all I didn't find this coat particularly warm. (I often had to wear a sweatshirt underneath and at least 2 shirts.) Second, the zipper on this coat is ridiculous. Sometimes this worked perfectly; Other times I stood there for 5 minutes trying to get the end in so I could unzip it. And finally, one day I wore this coat while walking my dog. I bought this black jacket for about $125 which felt like a very good deal. I've wanted a fur jacket for a long time and I've always loved Columbia products! It's no different and I love it so much! The only thing I would change is the hood, it's quite big and kind of falls down. But that doesn't change how much I like him. I bought this coat on Amazon after trying it on at Bass Pro Shops. I fell in love with them in store but certainly didn't want to pay full price if I could find them cheaper elsewhere.
