Good fit and comfortable

The X-Small shirt fits my 5'0" 99lb friend perfectly. The thumb hooks on the sleeve are a nice addition. Good sun protection over the bikini. Hot Recommended of course.

Great for a day on the water

Great for a day in the sun. I wear one on the water and have yet to get a sunburn while wearing it. It's still light and quite cool. A sweatshirt is great because it keeps the sun off your neck while staying in place, but it doesn't have drawstrings so it won't stay in place while the boat is moving unless you put one on hat on. I'm 5ft 6" and ordered a medium size which fits well.

I love this shirt. Definitely would buy more.

I really liked this shirt. I bought my normal size (XL) and it fits about the same as the model. So if you want it a little looser, go up a size. I'm 5'3", 190 pounds, 36 degrees, 36" waist. There's not much stretch there either, so if it's too small it can be limiting. I wore it all day and never got hot or sunburned. Dried up pretty quickly. Washes well (hang to dry). The hood was a bit small to accommodate my ponytail but nothing too bad. If I spent more time in the sun I would definitely…

Lightweight and quick drying

I bought this solely for use in warm weather so I don't have to wear tons of sunscreen and also avoid getting burned while swimming. This shirt is perfect! The size was true to size. I love having thumb holes so I can protect my hands and also a hood to protect my scalp - I hate my skin burning in the hairpiece! It's lightweight so I had no problem wearing it even when it was 80-90 degrees F outside and it dried pretty quickly too so even when it was cooler and windier I was at the beach, not…

Love this sunny shirt!

I love this t-shirt from the sun! I have a similar one from Patagonia (it's still good, much more expensive and has a bag). But almost every time I need one of these, I choose this Columbia. Super light! Dries fast! Excellent quality! The opening at the neck that connects the hood is wide and not narrow. This way I can really enjoy the hood and not feel trapped with my hair right in my face. I'm short at 5ft 3in and top heavy with broad shoulders. The 40DDD XL fits well with a little more play…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

It's comfortable and true to color and size

It's comfortable and true to color and size. I carry all my extra weight in my stomach area and it covers everything without bulging me. The only thing I noticed was that I felt the sleeves weren't long enough to use the thumb holes without the sleeves being tight. It's like wearing a long-sleeved shirt and holding the fabric on your wrists as you put on your coat so it doesn't cut into your jacket sleeve. My other dislike for this top is that I'm a sweaty mess. I didn't feel like I was being…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home

Perfect Sun Shirt Fits Clothes

I bought it in two colors and I love it so much! White also washes off well. I bought it to wear while watching outdoor mountain bike competitions and it got dirty (grass, dirt, mud, sweat) and washes well with a little Oxyclean pre-treatment. I sat in direct sunlight two days in a row from 12:00 to 17:00 - a heat index of 100° with a humidity of 65%. I don't like heat but this shirt didn't add any heat at all! I'm 5'5" tall, weigh 260 pounds and usually wear 2x or women's size 20 - with a 40C…

Works, size up for looser fit except athletic build

I like the colour, not hot or piping hot. Has been used for kayaking and is not too uncomfortable when wet, dries quickly. Really, the good does not stay in the wind, I would have to urgently protect my neck from the sun to use it. I'm not a big fan of one arm lettering like most people, I think something thinner on the chest like a Columbia pfg I've seen is better and I could wear more seats. I'm 5'6" and between 37 and 42 pounds due to recent weight gain issues and thyroid medication changes.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
