Nice. Warm. Well done.

Much nicer in reality than the picture, this coat is just amazing. It's light and the right shape for my body. It was one of the few things that could handle my broad shoulders without turning the rest of them into a wide bag. I was looking for a coat and only had money for a jacket so returned it but not because it was a bad buy.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some difficulties

My favorite lightweight down jacket in hiking brand clothing

I love this jacket. This is the second of these Voodoo Falls style 560 Turbo Downs that I have purchased. The second is hoodless. The cut of this jacket looks great on me. I've tried several similar styles from Northface and Patagonia but came back to this specific style from Colombia. It's lightweight and keeps you warm. I hope they continue this coat style!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great item for travel - clothing

We recently went to Alaska and took it with me. It was perfect for layering when it was chilly. Haven't worn it in very cold weather so can't comment on that but we took the helicopter to the glacier, I had another layer underneath and it was perfect. I keep it in my backpack on all our hikes so I can get it when it gets cold. It will definitely be in my bag on all my travels and will probably be used all year round. I looked at a lot of jackets, wanted something warm, hooded…

  • Durable finish

Unusual cut for hourglass or heavy bottoms

This jacket has good sleeve length for a tall woman in a size L but has very broad shoulders and a very narrow waistline. I'd say it's more suited to apple figures or very muscular ladies with heavy tops. I still love the jacket's warmth, practicality (big pockets, yes!) and look enough to keep. I have the arm span of a 18 meter man on a thin female figure and that makes buying women's clothing a real nightmare. Size L is perfect for women who are in the top 3% in terms of height (I have a 34…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Slightly ripped

Nice and warm, good for down jackets and parkas

Bought at Blue Heron for 3X. Nice color! I usually wear 2x but ordered as I hate having the coat tight when layering underneath and I have plenty of room without it looking huge. I live in Central Minneapolis and it was about -20F when I got this and it's definitely warm enough for our harsh winters. The longer you wear it, the warmer it gets, presumably due to the Omni-Heat lining. This coat is not bulky or super puffy at all. The length seems perfect, reaching just below my hips. The only…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Very warm, light and stylish.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. I bought it at a good price because of the color options and the all round heating function. I have no experience with Omni-Heat or Columbia jackets, but I looked at them while shopping for a hike. My wife doesn't hike, but it's lightweight and very stylish. She looks great in it. I have good taste in clothes and women so buy it guys you will love it. Or girl. however. I bought a big one. It was a little tight in the chest but gave her a pleasing hourglass

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Good but not great

Winter tested in North Dakota!

When buying Columbia down jackets, pay attention to the down fill number - on this coat it's 590, I think it's one of the thinnest down jackets. filling 650, 740, 860; The higher the filling, the fuller and possibly warmer the fur will be. This is a very thin coat. But I wanted the warmest, fitted, low-profile coat I could find, one that compresses and packs very little as I travel constantly, and a coat that's a little more dressy than a regular ski parka, so I'll keep that in mind…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Hard to say
