I purchased this product hoping to sharpen my industrial and scientific grade knives, but it didn't deliver. When I tried this product, it barely made a difference and the grit was too coarse. The only pro is that the packaging was nice. The cons far outweigh the one positive - it's a waste of money.

Groats conform to the declaration. 5 knives sharpened to a razor blade. Great feeling and feedback. Smooth as butter. Fixed bugs caused by using cheaper double-faced bricks. Can be worn well without slipping. Great price for an excellent stone. The holder adapts to smaller stones. Can't be wrong

Five stars for this product because it is amazing. It cuts better than my old Norton stone, for example, and works just as well with a comparable grit. I use it to sharpen kitchen knives and straight razors, both are excellent. Remember to make some mush with the small stone, it's very important to have a fresh, flat cut surface every time a stone is used.
