Generates a lot of warmth. I bought it for the small space my mom has. If I were to buy it for myself I would go with a large profile device. Otherwise she loves it!

Bought as a gift for my elderly relatives. They love it! When the temperature drops, they use it in their living room and stay toasted. Also has a nice wood fire effect. Found a few less expensive but not as nice looking. The front doors open to hide the switches.

I like this heater. It's cute and looks real, very cozy and gives off decent heat for a SMALL space. It definitely won't heat 1000 square feet, but it will warm a smaller space. Maybe 300-400 square meters. He's smaller than I thought, but so charming I didn't care. I've used it in 30 degree weather with baseboard heaters and a wood stove inside and it definitely brings out the chill from cold places and keeps your feet warm.
