I like this heater. It's cute and looks real, very cozy and gives off decent heat for a SMALL space. It definitely won't heat 1000 square feet, but it will warm a smaller space. Maybe 300-400 square meters. He's smaller than I thought, but so charming I didn't care. I've used it in 30 degree weather with baseboard heaters and a wood stove inside and it definitely brings out the chill from cold places and keeps your feet warm. The controls are simple and really easy to use. It came assembled except for 4 legs, each of which required a small screw. The case does not heat up, and there is an air outlet on the heater that gently blows out warm air.
