🔗 Jumbo Quartz Command Hook - Model 17088Q ES Review

I am very happy with these hooks! I've used them to hang curtains and they've held up well so far! I couldn't find this color in the store but I was glad Revane had it. The hooks are plastic, but the color makes them prettier (and you can't tell them apart until you touch them). They were easy to install and seemed to stick well to my stone wall. Basically I am very satisfied!

After my husband tried to drill a hole and the drywall began to crumble, I remembered this happening in every house I lived in and figured there must be another way. I took 2 of these black hooks to match the bar and attached them to the wall. The 84-inch blackout curtains are still hanging months later. After this epiphany I found other colors and sizes of Command hooks and hung at least 5 more sets of curtains and drapes this way. I will never try to hang curtains with a drill again.

They were easy to install and have so far held up my curtains and cornices well. Black makes them more expensive and less plastic. My only complaint is that I wish they protruded a bit and gave the curtains a little more distance from the wall. This hook is just what I needed in my closet. I have a bad habit of tossing my "not-quite-dirty" clothes on a chair in my bedroom or on the floor in my closet. I am obsessed with 3M Command products and use them throughout my home. I rent an apartment and live in an old house with stucco walls which makes hanging stuff a big problem. Not wanting to drill into the wall to hang the cornice I took a simpler approach. I used it! Those weren't the hooks I got when I first tried to hang the curtain rod. The last pair couldn't support that much weight, which was part of the problem. The glue was different. So I got them and they definitely worked! It helped that both strips were needed on the back. Great item. There is adhesive tape on the back that sticks to almost any surface. It also detaches easily if you want to take it off when renting or moving house or just moving things around. As you can see from the photo, it can hold a fairly large item and has a hook big enough to hang almost anything you want. 1) it would be possible to treat thicker towels more gently. Less than 1/4 inch more room in the hook secures my towel better. 2) it sticks too well. what I mean?
