I used this to hang a 24 x 36mm dry erase/cork board on the wall and didn't have to screw it to the wall. I used them to hold a large cat scratching post to the wall after trying to climb a stand which ended in disaster. I have two feral cats who like to climb anything and regularly climb the scratching post. These streaks haven't let me down yet and I don't expect they will anytime soon! The product description doesn't say anything about using it only on painted surfaces but I noticed it after it was written in very small type on the back of the box Below it was not for wallpaper! But I think it makes sense as it essentially means that the wallpaper paste is carrying the weight and not the wall itself. Well, we all know how useful command bars are for many household tasks, but they can be expensive. I got them as a supplement at a great price so I couldn't refuse them.
