I have these things all over the house. I use them to keep blackout curtains closed, pin blackout curtains to wall, hang picture frames, canvas posters, random wall art, pin statues/jewelry to table. almost everywhere. Now I will say that there are some things that should not be hung on it: for example, heavy frames (e.g. frames for diplomas, frames with an uneven surface on the back) and some walls do not go well with it. Make sure you test something simple and cheap before you go crazy to see if it's compatible with your walls. They were definitely value for money when I moved into an apartment and didn't have to remove 1 nail hole, they came off as expected.
