I bought one to auto close my garage door, installed and was so excited I bought 7 more and installed them on multiple doors in multiple properties. Build quality is good for the price, and it's small enough where you need it to not really be noticeable in residential settings. I highly recommend it if you want the doors to close automatically. Especially if you have a smart doorknob because sometimes the auto lock feature won't work if the door isn't fully closed.

Just what I needed. The wife will NOT leave the garage door open where we have a washer dryer that efficiently air-conditions the entire area. I have tried the spring hinges but the weather seal makes it impossible to fully close the door. Although they helped, even three weren't enough. Excellent instructions including a template for drilling different types of installation geometries. High adjustability. I was able to close it to open it without much effort. Five stars.

Instructions and template were easy to use. Setup didn't take long. There were instructions on how to use the product in three different ways. The only thing missing was the details of the included screws and when to use them. Luckily, my husband and I figured out which screws work best for our door. This door closer is very easy to install. My husband helped me but it would have been easy for me to install it on my own. I like that the screws and bolts are rated for heavy loads; which means it will take a very long time. There are multiple installation options so it really fits into any home. I have a 2 year old and a small dog who likes to try and run out the door when I'm busy. The fitting instructions are easy to read and understand and come with a template for all three fitting methods and left and right hand doors. It was very easy to see which way would work with my door. My only complaint is that they don't explain what screws are and when to use them. Also when trying to mount the lever as specified (parallel lever for the right door, flat gear at point b) it didn't quite fit, the lever was on the door so we improvised and changed it.
