Glare and loss of light with long exposure.

I bought this to use on my R5 as an intermediate until the official Canon is available. Overall, I have no issues with build quality, autofocus, and functionality. Works with all my Canon lenses and even my Tamron lenses. However, lens flare can get annoying, especially on my Canon EF 50mm 1.4mm. As for light leakage, I tested it on my EF16-35mm F1.4L by leaving the caps in place and shining a flashlight around the adapter. Light leaks are clearly visible, which was unfortunate and unusable…

Much better than I could have imagined

I LOVE this adapter. I like the elevated tripod base. It keeps my lenses from coming into contact with any surface I place them on, protects them from rubbing against the table and also keeps them clean. It also focuses very quickly. I bought a Canon R6 but I only have EF lenses: Tamron G2 zooms (2.8 24-70 and 70-200) and Sigma Art 1.4 85mm and 50mm. The camera focuses very quickly, much better than the Canon 6Dm2 it replaces. I haven't had any drama or issues so as far as I can tell this works

Works well. for all but one lens

The adapter works perfectly with my M50 and all my previous lenses. except one. It's durable and well constructed. Autofocus and image stabilization seem to be supported quite well. The only problem I have is with my Tamron 18-400mm. Due to the large zoom range of this lens, a large rotation of the zoom ring is required to achieve different zoom distances. The lens moves very little at the contact points with the adapter when rotating and adjusting the zoom. The camera briefly loses contact…

Key lens flare - even when main light is blocked

We originally bought this because they didn't order the Canon brand and we needed something faster. At first glance everything seemed to be working perfectly, then we shot it for a couple of photoshoots and found that many of our images showed severe glare, even when the sun (or a bright light source) wasn't setting. our lens directly. I received an official Canon adapter today so I took these two pictures in my garden to show what I mean. Not only did this adapter have significant lens flare…

Updated: Unblocked in Canon M50

Updated Review: After I submitted the review below, the seller contacted me and very professionally worked with me to find out why I had this problem. I explained that I had already returned the item to Revane so I couldn't send it directly to them for inspection and I ordered a native Canon adapter which worked perfectly so I didn't think the problem was with my camera. The seller offered to send me a new one for free to test on my camera and see if the problem persists. I got a new one and…

Great budget alternative

Like many of you, I spend a lot of time researching before I buy a product. I was torn between this adapter and the Canon adapter for my new Canon M6 camera that I bought for the trip of a lifetime. The feedback influenced me and I did some testing today. First, the lock between the adapter and the camera is secure and doesn't wobble as other brand buyers have reported. Durable and stable. Connecting several of my EF lenses, both Canon and Tamron, gave excellent fast autofocus and stable…
