Fits perfectly on my cammed 5.3. It seems that a lot of the negative reviews are from people who are just doing something wrong. Read the instructions, don't push it in too deep, and if so, flip it over and push it back a little. Do not stretch the snap rings too much when installing them or they will become weak and break later on the road.

This is the quality of what I have seen so far. During the installation. BEARINGS MUST BE INSTALLED LETTER UP! Comp Cams states this on their website, although instructions are included with this kit. Also if you press the bearings into the rocker and they are too tight and won't move; Tap the bearing lightly with a hammer and it will loosen the pivot. Make sure each seesaw rotates smoothly after installation.

This product is extremely useful for those who want to pump their rockers specifically to 7500 RPM! This really strengthens your seesaw and is essentially a safer option for you that costs a lot less than buying a heavy duty seesaw. A comps camera is by far the best in the business. What I liked the most was how helpful Amazon was when they knew my order was incomplete, so they sent me a new one and kindly asked me to return the old package myself👍

This is a great idea for any LS1 engine that was installed in both 1998 thru 2002 F-body (Camaro and Firebirds) and C-5 Corvettes. Even if your LS1 motor is completely stock, I highly recommend this kit. The stock rocker bearings on the LS1 are cageless needle bearings, which means they can, and often do, be retired from racing.
