I really like microphones. They are crystal clear and static free. They are very durable and don't rattle internally when using microphones. We have 2 and are very happy. There is no static. This is the winner. Very good! Also very good for the price. You will enjoy using them during critical weather events, power outages, tornadoes and hurricanes, transformers and fires. Those are great tricks.

I bought two of these and two cheaper ones to compare. We drive cross-country and like to talk on the walkie-talkie. You definitely get more for your money with them. Not only was the cable and clip better quality, but I couldn't understand what kids were saying with the cheaper mics most of the time. With them, the quality of the microphone is much better. Bought Baofeng speaker mic and sent it back because one didn't work and the speakers felt bad. These are better, but the cables are short and the transfer button isn't very pretty. As they are used outdoors in winter, gloves are worn and the lack of tactile feedback is an issue. Even without gloves, the transfer key travel is very short. The sound quality is excellent and the plastic feels less brittle than the Baofeng speaker microphone. I would like a better set but they are more expensive…
