This is a good product. It's a little thicker than normal, warm and natural, so I decided to give it a try. I DID NOT READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY and prewashed them by soaking them in the washing machine. Then I thought I would turn it to expel the water, but it was a HUGE MISTAKE. Parts of the batting came apart so I had to cut those parts out. They were stretched and unusable. Luckily I still had enough good cotton for my quilting project. So be sure to read the instructions!

I just finished my first quilt with this batting. For this blanket I wanted a very warm Colorado Mountain blanket and I wanted it to have a vintage look. Old quilts didn't look puffy like some people would like them to. It's compressed cotton, a bit like a blanket within a blanket, just what I wanted. Super soft and plush with 50% more cotton than warm and natural or warm and white (which is what I've always used). Made in the USA from US-grown cotton.
