Doesn't work properly, cheap build quality

The top switch has 3 volume levels, only 2 of them work and they sound pretty much the same. At maximum volume, the metal plate does not click at all. I bought two of these and both behave exactly the same. Their only advantage is that the click isn't as shrill as most other clickers, but they are bulky, unwieldy, and cheap to construct. The slider also moves freely over one of them instead of snapping.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Damaged

This clicker worked great for our very shy three legged chihuahua mix. He was very nervous about all the other clickers and as soon as you pressed he would slip into his kennel. We bought this and set it to the lowest level. He didn't like it at first anyway, but he wasn't scared enough to run away (just looked a little tired). However, we kept practicing and once he understood that the click means a treat, he comes out as soon as I take it. I put it on the 2nd setting when we are in noisyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Available in black only

Bought this for my 2 cats to use for basic training (yes cats right) - no it really works! Works great for positive reinforcement on treats and redirects - they're connected in one click! I have a cat that can pick up food and I clicker to redirect her when I see her walking towards the food bowl when the other kitten is trying to eat and that can be helpful. Also, I have a redhead cat who thinks it's a dog, so clicker training is a little easier! haha i like the 3 click levels to switch to and

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
