Before you buy these outlets, learn about the potential safety issues associated with smart outlets. Start by searching for "Smart Plug Security Issue". I tried them because they were a much cheaper option compared to what I was using. The main difference between these devices is that they connect directly to your WiFi network. I'm giving 2 stars, 1 because they arrived on time and look exactly as advertised and another because they *really* work, FUCK they ALWAYS turn on and off at random times despite my scheduled time. . These smart sockets are easy to set up, have many features via the Smart Life app (available on the App Store and Google Play) and can be forgotten through automation once they're ready to go.
