It fits my Rainsoft reverse osmosis filter and seems to get the job done.

This was a replacement for the original filters. The only problem after the simultaneous replacement with the membrane was the amount of air in the system, which took some time to clean. During the first month I had to use bypass mode several times to get the air out.

Does not fit ULTREFINER II

Completely disappointing. This is NOT a replacement for the Rainsoft Ultrefiner II. Filters for the ultrefiner II have a nipple with O-rings on top. I found out about this after purchase from a cross reference to install in the Revain app. Now I had to put the old filters back in and find the RIGHT replacement filter.

Couldn't use filter, look elsewhere

My OEM Rainsoft filters gave me 6ppm after flushing. time to replace. I ordered these filters, installed them and got 145ppm after several washes. The plastic on the filter is torn, I thought the problem was there. Gave them back for new ones. Installed, got 96 PPM after a few washes. Went back to the OEM filters and tested them at 25ppm (membrane filters had to be replaced) which stinks because they're $100. I think not all filters are created equal.
