not the quality I expected.

The filters were the right type but while one worked great the other had a loose lid that leaked charcoal into my tank. Quite a mess to clean everything up.

Pros
  • Commercial grade with extended life up to 12 months or 2000 gallons.
Cons
  • Expandable

Excellent water filters

Filters fit perfectly, installation was easy. After installing the filter, I rinsed the aquarium three times and the water quality was as good as before the filter change. Good value for money!

Pros
  • Ideal for GE RO Systems GXRM10RBL PNRV12 and GXRV10
Cons
  • Fits

Seems to work just as well as more expensive filters,

Our city water comes from a well and is very hard, rich in sulphates, magnesium, chlorides and also quite rich in sulphates. I brew beer and profile my water to match the style of beer I'm brewing (yes, the type of water matters to the style of beer). So I tested my R/O water in a lab so I can salt it properly. For a correct profile with these filters I was impressed by the water report (see image)

Pros
  • Commercial grade extends life to 12 months or 2000 gallons.
Cons
  • So far so good
