Confusing Alexa setup Read this review to connect!

1. Installing the app for this plug was easy. You can set a timer to turn on or off each plug or USB port separately.2. Connecting to Alexa took a little longer. The written instructions say to find a "smart life" for Alexa to find a way out. "Smart Life" and "Jintoo" weren't on the list, and when I selected "Other" it wasn't detectable. Exit. Can't connect, outlet is blocked

Unlike the picture, which clearly shows this plug in an outlet with enough room for another object, this is not the case. This thing is big enough to block a second outlet. What a shame because all they had to do was more where the pins come out to make room. But it's right in the middle, so it completely blocks the other exit. Second, I couldn't connect it after a dozen tries. Tried auto/ez, manual mode, multiple options. Nothing worked. And I have a bunch of other Alexa devices and plugins…

More complicated setup with Google Nest, but not bad

All of my first smart sockets were slightly larger and covered other sockets. The smart plug I was looking for didn't seem to take up much space and would leave room for another outlet as is, but would also provide another additional outlet and USB sockets on the same pin. That's exactly what I wanted. It was very easy to set up. I set it up myself with 5G internet, although using a 2.4 network is recommended.
