Screen flickers on and off

This cable was used to connect a Dell Latitude 9510 laptop to a Samsung Thunderbolt Ultra Wide Monitor. The screen flickers on and off and is essentially useless. I know there are a lot of good reviews for this cable but I can't seem to get it to work properly. We were initially harassed with multiple email requests to remove this review in return for a refund. This is dishonest and all too common at Revane. This discredits the recall system and allows manufacturers to manipulate reviews. I…

Great cable, good value

Recently bought a Maxonar cable to replace my old Thunderbolt cable. I've been using it for a few days and sharing my feedback. Pros: 1. Durable braided build quality - feels like it will last for years2. The MacBook charging speed is fast, as good as the Apple cable that came with the MacBook. I can use it with an Apple charger and a non-Apple charger. In both cases, there was no slowdown in loading speed.3. I can connect an external 34 inch 4K4 monitor. The data transfer rate is extremely…

Not All Cables Are Created Equal

In June I bought an LG 24" Ultra Fine 4k from Apple that came with 2 cables: USB-C and Thunderbolt 3. Neither of these cables work properly with a MacBook Pro 2018 15" issued by my employer Can't establish a stable monitor connection As these cables provide a stable monitor connection with no issues when used with the latest MacBook Air and Macbok 12" I suspect there is a problem with the cables and monitor in Alright is and I blame it on the MacBook Pro.I had an apple support ticket and they…

Sturdy cable, thick and braided

This cable is a guarantee for the future. So far I've tested this cable to charge my 16" MacBook Pro and it delivered 100W correctly. I used and tested a SanDisk Extreme Pro external USB-C SSD and it is faster than USB 3.1 with this cable. Drive specs (950MB/s read, 931MB/s write) All I can say is that it offers at least USB 3.1 speeds and 100W charging, which is enough for my needs at the moment. devices are available and accessible, this cable simply means cross-compatible should the need…

Perfect! in Cables and Connections

I have a Razer Core X eGPU case with a Radeon 5600 XT card. Anyone with this case knows that the cord is ridiculously short (1.5 feet). I actually wanted a 2m cable, but I've read enough reviews about it that I was worried about reduced bandwidth and poor quality. So based on the reviews I decided to go for it. I can't say anything about durability yet. But my first impression is solid. On macOS, I used CL!ng (GPU test app on the App Store) to test host-to-device and device-to-host throughput…

Solid Thunderbolt 4 Cables

These cables work well and are well constructed. At 4 feet they are priced comparable to many Thunderbolt 3 cables that are 1 meter or just 3 feet, but Thunderbolt 4 offers more compatibility and should be of a higher standard, and I get a longer cable with Maxonar. I can't comment on the durability of the cables as I've only had them for about a week which isn't enough time to know how they will hold up over time. I have one caveat: I originally bought these cables. to connect my M1 iPad Pro…
