Worthless Camshaft for Auto Performance

This camshaft was a complete waste of money for my automotive project. The installation process was a nightmare and had to be redone multiple times. The horsepower gains were non-existent and the idle was extremely rough. The only positive was the price, but you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Poor performance

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Made plenty of power for a solid street and casual performer at the track.

Kitted out on a 2000 Corvette with heads, manifolds, injectors, intake manifold, TB (factory 80,000 mile short block) and a 482.38 horsepower dyno. at 6200 rpm and 453.88 lb-ft. @ 4700 rpm on the engine. To put this in context, this is a good idle with vacuum.

Pros
  • High speed street/strip engines with XE-R cam. Requires customization.
Cons
  • Repair
