Not as sturdy as others I have, magnet is not strong enough for anything practical. Hasn't broken, but definitely not sturdy.

Dressing/shoehorn broke first time it was used. The sick helper is smaller and foot can't go all the way in to pull up sock.

I haven't had to use them yet, but I've been 'practicing' prior to my upcoming joint surgery. Glad I bought these! Some consumers may not have the space to use certain tools.

After major surgery, these have become the most useful items I’ve purchased to get thru day to day living. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the white sock thing is so wide my socks do not fit. It’s useless unless you have extremely wide feet with loose socks. These are useless for normal women. I’m not sure who designed this thing, but offering a narrower one would be advantageous.

The sock puller really helped the first couple of weeks after surgery. I also use the grabber and the hook stick many times each day!

Grabber is ok.designed for shorter person. Shoehorn works well.Sock assistant is unusable unless you have a narrow foot.

Products all work fine, some say the sock helper is too big, but I put on very tight compression socks just fine. The items are not incredibly sturdy, but for the price, they have been fine. I use the shoehorn/grabber hook quite a bit and the grabber alone is probably worth the price- it is multi-functional and has a wide grip that works great in the kitchen.

The sock pulling on thing has cheap foam that has already warn off. The shoehorn removal hook break at the join. Claws fine. They still basically do the job but they were cheap and it shows.

The reacher grabber is worth its weight in gold. I still use it for reaching and sitting things up high. I was never able to use the other gadgets. They required too much bending and twisting, and if you’ve had knee or hip replacement that much reaching immediately following surgery is not in the cards…and after a couple of weeks when you can bend and twist I managed better without them.

Had my hip replaced and knew I would want a sock putter onner thing to help me. This kit was the same price as others with just the sock assistive device. The grabber and the reacher/shoe horn have both come in handy, as well. All do as they are supposed to do in helping me be more independent in my recovery.

After having spine surgery, this was suggested by the hospital physical therapist! The reaching tool has really come in handy. I haven’t used the one that helps with puttin on socks and such but I used it in hospital once and it’s a great tool

I dropped the Shoe Horn & Dressing Stick on a wood floor and one of the hooks broke off rendering it useless. The plastic is kind of flimsy to begin with. I have to use the shoehorn to push my socks off. The sock aid and reacher/grabber work. If I had planned better before my surgery, I would have returned this kit and gotten something sturdier.

I like the grabber. Works well. Good design.The sock donner was a little smaller in the width and the edges were a little sharp. So it was easier to get the sock over it, but it kinda hurt digging in my skin as I used it. That’s being a little nit-picky. Foldable reacher is great and portable, though not as sturdy as non-folding. Dressing stick/shoe horn is terrific. Sock aid heel foam peeled and shredded within a week.

Most of the items are absolutely not helpful. The grabber is extremely helpful. The rest is more aggregating than necessary.

After hip replacement you will use the reacher grabber daily for quite a long time - you can't bend or reach the floor. The sock aid was never used. The only sock I wore was compression and this grabber doesn't help get those on at all (if you wear regular socks perhaps this works) The shoe horn and the clothes enabler is also used a lot. The sock helper was great! Same with the grabber and the shoe horn. Good set when you can't bend your leg. That's my feedback.

***UPDATED***I’ve increased my rating to 4 stars after surgery. I’ve used the reacher/grabber, which works well and I love that it folds and is easier to transport. The dressing stick is still very handy. You don’t realize how much you drop or reach for stuff until you are unable to bend (first to third weeks postop). These little devices were great in assisting me me thru this difficult time. Got another set for my brother in law who is about to have the same surgery.

Everything that comes with this kit works very well, I had a hip replacement and the sock tool, and the long shoe horn was a life saver, if it wasn't for these I never would have been able to get my socks and shoes on by myself, definitely worth the money, and it's nice that everything breaks down to fit in the carring bag.
