A very nice punch kit. While the hammer is nice, it's not made for heavy-duty jobs. For lighter "punches" the hammer works well, however if you need to use the included punches on stronger metal, you'll probably need a beefier hammer. With that being said, the punches themselves are quite nice -- strong metal and nice edges. They feel like they will last quite a while.

I needed a durable punch set for some gun smithing projects and this pridefend kit fit the bill. These punches were tough enough to knock out welded pins on combloc AK rifles without warping the punches. My wheeler kit wasn't as lucky (broke a few). A noted plus, the pridefend punch kit comes with roll pin starter punches. Man have I needed these before! It made pinning an adjustable gas piston a breeze. This is a very nice set. You get a very nice selection of pin punches in popular gunsmithing sizes. Along with the punches, you get a well balanced hammer with multiple, interchangeable faces. This is a very versatile set. The case is also great. Keeps everything neatly organized and safely stored until the next time you need them. You can feel confident using these on your valuable firearms.

Overall, excellent compact set of punches. This one is intended for mainly AR use but can be used with other gunsmith applications. The small 5/64th and 1/16th, of which you are given 2 of each are magnetic. The metal hammer heads have a rubber gasket which is good. I have built 7 AR's so far using this set and they have been pricely with some of the roll pins on a few of the cheaper lowers that aren't NASA precise. Without these I would have probably not succeeded as quickly as I did. 5 stars…

Sturdy carry case and the pins all work very well. Hammer has a good grip with attachments. Great value and did very well for the project.

There was no 3/32. 3/32 labeled punch was more like 5/32 by micrometer, as was the 1/16th.Worse than poor workmanship was false labeling. Obviously done on purpose. DO NOT BUY.

Super useful. A must have if you're putting an AR together. If you have the right tool and YouTube, you can almost fix anything! Lol

Used to remove gas block on AR.1/8' and 3/16 both bent like bailing wire.Definitely not heat treated or it is made from mild steel.Had to go to Home Depot to complete the job.In this case, you get what you pay for.Returning to revain tomorrow for a refund.

Poor quality. 1/8th punch bent after 8 or 9 strikes on my gas block and the hammer fell apart on the second strike. Just completely useless. I have to take my weapon to a gun smith, it's easier than dealing with poorly made and designed products.

2* for presentation and revain’s fast delivery. The punches are made of soft metal and bent easily.Would not recommend for taper pins. Better off purchasing one from brownell
