Top quality knife set, good design for a small counter, everything needed for the prep table.

From the honing rod on, these are sharp, well-designed knives, with a solid holder. Stainless steel handles and hardened blades that are easy to keep clean and very sharp. I will use the honing rod, that looks to be 10,000- grit, on all my knives for a quick touch up, for their maximum sharpness. The cutting board is a nice bonus that is very useful and a good addition to the set. Good quality complete- knife set. Great find!

The slant design is especially nice making it easy to keep it organized and handier to use compared to the straight up and down designs. Very stable base footprint remains constant whether empty or full.The knifes aren't the best in the world but much better than other collections. The Good, Bad, and Overall.

The Good: You receive a nice knife set and cutting board. Each blade fits well and would make for a great house warming gift for someone just starting out.The Bad: It is a bit cumbersome. It has a high profile and it can be tipped over if bumped. Cutting board may fall out from a bump as well. It's not unstable, it just has a high profile. Very appealing set good for me

This is actually a great change from your basic butcher block of knives. This set sits against the wall instead of sticking out. Every thing is easy to access and having a cutting board right there as well is nice. It looks good, is heavy sturdy pieces, has plenty of choices, sharp and overall, seems well constructed. I do wish it had scissors but that's ok. I first tried the pairing knife because I use those mostly and have trouble finding ones I like. Most pairing knifes designed like these…

nice set overall but honing rod is crap

This is a nice, well conceived, budget knife set. This is a good option for a small kitchen with limited space and has a cutting board included that slides nicely into an integrated pocket that makes for overall compact and good use of space.The knives themselves are probably fine for someone that doesn't really care about knife quality which is most people, I think. They are light and seem decently balanced. The honing rod (incorrectly referred to as a sharpener) is terrible however. It has…

First the knives. These knives are all stainless steel. They are lighter in weight and thickness than most knives I have used, but they are sturdy and the blades are rigid enough for good control. They have a good, sharp edge. The block and cutting board are all bamboo, which is hard and durable. I believe the knives, the block and the cutting board will serve me well for many years. Sharp and solidly built

These knives are sharp and solidly built. I especially like that its handle and blade are built in one solid piece, avoiding the chance of trapping dirt, thus easier to clean. Its simple block design is a space saver on the countertop. Cutting board is a great extra. You can’t go wrong with these knives.

Everything you need

This knife block is great! The knives all have a decent weight when you hold them in your hand and they cut well. The added honing steel is great and the attached cutting board is an additional plus. It looks very nice in my kitchen.
