Component Converter YPBPR Support Player Review

Our new TV doesn't have component jacks so videos played on our favorite (but old) 5 disc DVD changer didn't play properly through the adapter we had had to use to connect it. high. We are now back to watching our DVD videos in the native video quality that the DVD player outputs. Highly recommended.

I had to replace my TV and the new one only had HDMI. So I got this adapter for my DVD player and everything was great until I tried playing old DVDs. Not sure about the age range, but it will play, say, the new Marvel DVDs quite well, but not Labyrinth or Aliens. The menu loads but the movie becomes a wavy blur. I'm not exactly sure who this product is for. It doesn't convert HDMI to component, but vice versa from component to HDMI, but oddly it has RCA connectors. I'm not sure where this would be useful as RCA plugs, which come out of almost everything, are male, so you'll need some female/female RCA connectors unless you're connecting something REALLY old like a DVD player . from the 90's that has female RCA connectors.
