This is a no-nonsense protective case designed specifically for the BeagleBone Black. The case is a two-piece injection-moulded ABS enclosure that snaps together around the BeagleBone Black. Holds the BeagleBone Black firmly in place. It provides tough protection for the BeagleBone Black while providing access to all BeagleBone connectors. Includes reset key for use with the BeagleBone Black reset buttons. Includes light-pipes for the LED clusters and access to all BeagleBone Black connectors.

Cannot be used without modification

The case holds the board perfectly, but if you want to plug in cables then you're completely lost. You cannot plug and connect the micro HDMI port through the case to the board. IF you have an endless supply of HDMI cables to choose from, you can find the right one. However, if you're like me, either use what you have on hand or what you bought from Revain using just the pictures and use your dremel tool to cut off the body parts that are im stand away. But it was cheap.

It hardly does the job.

This case is like two problems. The first is a tiny tool that can be used to press the reset and power buttons. I've bought two such suitcases so far and have already lost one. Second, the case doesn't really stay together; Clicks are barely noticeable. I bought a bag to carry the BBB in my bag but I won't be doing that with this bag.

I really liked the fit and design. 1) Housing halves will NOT stay together

The fit and design is very good. 1) The case halves do NOT stay together, I had to use tape to prevent them from falling apart. 2) The USB hole is too small for most plugs I have so I have to put it down a bit more. 3) The HDMI port is also very small. 4) The 2 extra plastic buttons are nice to the touch, I attached them to the HTMI and USB cables with a standard twisted wire. Overall not the best product.
