Type of review

I did a lot of research and testing before deciding ComposiMold as the best material for molding objects with delicate surfaces. (old vintage toy) This material is easy to use again and again. I hate making multi-part plaster molds! It's so time consuming and messy, and if it doesn't work properly, it's a waste of time. And the heat of the plaster is unacceptable for some items. As a sculptor, I appreciate that with this putty I can take multiple molds, cast them, and then reuse them on another

To be too good to be true? Yes.

I wanted to like. I actually did, but it just doesn't fit his needs. At least polymer clay or resin. The first few times I tried sculpting it turned out to be good. About the fourth time I tried to make the mold it got very oily and ruined my resin. Spring. Okay, now it's used exclusively for polymer clay. But the next time I tried to use it, it just fell apart. Cool concept, not a great result

I love the concept of this product! There were 6 ounces in the box. Putties, clear and detailed instructions, activator bottles and brochures about other products they have (related to mold making). I followed the directions and put 5 drops of activator in a microwaveable putty bag, heated it for 15 seconds, tested it for another 15 and it was very flexible so I let it sit for 10 minutes.
