Compression sleeve works well except in one area. The top of the sleeve continues to roll down. It would be better if the supports went all the way up so he wouldn't roll off. That issue aside, it feels comfortable on my knee. The gel ring ensures the right pressure.

I bought this sleeve because of constant knee pain. Since I put the sleeve on, I no longer feel any sharp sensations in my knees or any stabbing pain. This is the most comfortable knee brace I have ever worn. Knitted material makes it so comfortable. What I like best are the side slats and the shell, which nestles comfortably against the kneecap. I bought one for my husband a year ago and it was very good quality and he still uses it. We tried to buy another one and the quality of this one went down a lot. They're used to sew side braces that help stabilize the knee and it's now sealed with glue or "easy-to-hold" glue that won't stick. When they arrived, the side supports broke where the seam separated. Disappointed as this was a good knee brace prior to these issues.
