Excellent customer service

When I installed this on the plasma cutter it had an air leak. I emailed the seller to see if I could get some 0 rings, customer service just sent new ones instead. Fiction!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Pointless fun

Male and female side ports swap positions according to flow direction. The only way to hook this up is to use an extra nipple and coupler, making the purpose of this "in-line" downright moot.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • unreliable

Almost Perfect: Power Tool Parts & Accessories

I really like this thing. Even though I have an automatic drain and a two-stage filter/separator, the humidity where I live is very high. Unfortunately, sometimes the safety valve seems to be stuck. So far, the hard smack seems to have peeled it off, but it's still annoying.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Low Repairability

Garbage! Cracked Female Fitting

Bullshit! Less than 4 months in use and the brass bushing has a crack. It was only hand tight and never leaked air. I heard my compressor running today when not in use, as soon as I approached it I heard an air leak. Not worth the price

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Update Available

Low Power: Power Tool Parts & Accessories

Disappointed with the product. I haven't seen any real separation or production of dry air. It fills up with water very quickly, but even with very regular drainage, a lot of water still comes out of the device. This makes sandblasting almost impossible. I would not buy this product again.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

Works fine, not as long as I would like.

Filters water well. Not as durable as I expected for the price though. It accidentally fell on my concrete floor and now there is a thin leak at the edge of the metal case. Still filters water well, but it would be better if it could withstand operator error better.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Weight

I think it works

I think it works. So far I haven't come up with anything. I use a diaphragm air compressor so there really is no oil, but I haven't gotten any moisture out of it yet. If you're connecting something expensive, moisture or oil sensitive, you might spend a little more on something else. For the cheap things I run my compressor on, that's probably fine.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other picks

Less than 2 months

Purchased 7th September, now 6th November. Today I was in the workshop and turned on the compressor. I left to do other things. After 10 minutes I found that my compressor was still working. Finding this strange, I started investigating. I found that the connector on this water separator literally cracked and blew out all of my air. It would probably be better to go for the cheaper port charter option.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Some issues
