- How does it stack up to the r2700 in terms of sound, construction, equipment, remote control, size, and weight? When it comes to r2800 and s1000db, I usually keep my mouth shut even though they cost more. There are a number of options for hookup, including optical and line input as well as bluetooth.
- The power button, volume knobs, tone controls for the treble and bass, and audio output toggle are all located on the back of the unit, making the remote easy to misplace. Even though there is a remote, it's still inconvenient to have to climb there on a regular basis. It's a shame they couldn't twist high and low frequencies out of it, but you can't (in some situations it would help) Of course, everything was done to seem good (yes, it looks nice)
- 1) Excellent sound quality; 2) the brown color option will undoubtedly be as aesthetically pleasing as the black option; and 3) the sound has become even more saturated after almost two weeks, as mentioned above (or below).
- That's why it costs so much. To my utter dismay, the next day after I bought one in orange for $14,999, it dropped in price to $10,999. Too bad there isn't an emoticon for my mix of outrage and confusion. I could have returned it, but I didn't because doing so would have required me to expend time, money, and nerves.
