Just what I needed

I wear bifocals with progressive lenses. I don't need them to read books as long as I have a book or Kindle e-reader next to my face. I am very nearsighted and over the years as I have required stronger lenses to correct my distance vision it has become increasingly difficult for me to read in them as they interfere with my near vision when worn. Bifocals came in handy for something as average a distance as when looking at a computer monitor. The problem was that I always tilted my head back to

I've just bought new glasses (after 10 years) and couldn't afford to replace progressive lenses so I opted for traditional bifocals. I wear Varilux Phyiso progressive lenses in a frame size 53□19 which is quite wide and I was concerned that the clips might not fit the way I wanted. To my surprise you would think they were designed for this frame as the bridge appears to be almost identical whilst the width between the outer edges of the lenses is 119mm versus 124mm of my goggles in this semi rimless frame and the height is 26mm versus 26mm is 33mm my glasses and the thickness of the plastic lenses is 2.8mm.
