Suitable for G9 base, bright and beautiful. Good for most lights, though.

Be sure to check the width of the LED bulb before purchasing. Some LEDs are thicker than others. We received this from LampsPlus to replace some of the halogen bulbs for our lamp. We wanted natural light in our room, which also has a white bed, and the white natural light from these LED bulbs illuminates the room quite well. The quality was good, only time will tell. Also note that flickering may occur when used with a dimmer under load. However, our lamp is the only one connected to the line…

Bright and flicker free. Replaced by these other LED bulbs. Very satisfied

Updated 6/26/20 Still no flickering, still very happy to have it installed in all our toilets. Update 02/26/2020: They still work - no flickering, no dimming and much better than the previous purchase! We bought these to replace other LED bulbs we also bought from Revain which were 4.5 stars out of 5 but they weren't bright enough. for our bathroom and they seem to fade very quickly (within a few weeks) - these replacements are SO much better. Higher and cooler color temperature than standard G9 halogen bulbs

I bought these energy saving replacement bulbs for standard G9 bulbs used in various fixtures around the house. They are definitely VERY bright compared to standard 40w halogen bulbs (that's the max wattage allowed in many enclosed fixtures due to heat). However, you have to pay for the brightness - these lamps are very "cold" and have an almost bluish tint. . They are advertised as 3000K, but 5000K or more "seems" to me. (As a photographer, I'm aware and sensitive to color temperature!)…
