Elec 4in boc: electric drill parts and accessories

I bought this product to install 4in round boxes in plaster, it worked well for this and also for drilling small holes for plumbing. I haven't used it to drill panels yet. .

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Impresses with power tools and hand tools

This was an affordable tool that did exactly what it was meant to do. The alternative was a $120 tool to make a size 1 hole. I had to make 2 holes of different sizes. You saved me a lot of money

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works as expected

Does exactly what it's supposed to. I was able to use the largest 4.5" drill bit to drill a hole in a 12" thick brick wall in about 10-15 minutes of work. .However, there is a catch, they are cheap no matter how you look at it. Maybe 2 teeth broke off so I'm guessing he only has one hole left. BUT a single branded bit with extension would cost more than double this price and you only get 1 bit. So I think it's just a compromise.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
