I love this thread!

The color (steel blue) is awesome! The price is the best I've seen for such a large number of threads. I am making microwaveable slipcovers for Christmas gifts and am having trouble finding cotton yarn. This is now my favorite place to thread and since I just bought an serger I'm going to be browsing through a massive amount of thread! 😊🧵

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No automatic

Too thick thread! best when sewing

If you are going to use this thread for hemming pants, as someone said, it's a good thread for that, I'm not sure whose pants they're hemming, but it's definitely too thick for that. It's probably fine for bigger materials like carpet or something, the thread is too thick, the knots are sooooo light, it's almost annoying, and the color is a bit different too, it's more of a darker version of parrot green and definitely not a green hunter . Purchase at your own risk.

My Damaged Sewing Thread

This spool of thread has been damaged in some way. The Celepan case was also damaged. It takes about 1/8 inch thread to get a good finish. The other coil was fine. I don't use sharp objects to open packages, so I didn't. I can send it back or whatever you suggest. Many Thanks. Carol Seashols cseashols@hotmail.com

Pros
  • SATIN FINISH: Essential Thread has been treated with a satin finish for a soft, lustrous sheen.
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Poor quality yarn and floss

I thought it sounded like a reasonable topic - I searched the internet because I needed a dark blue color to finish a small project manually. The thread was wound up well and the color is nice but when you try to sew with it the thread snaps and knots and snaps - definitely not worth the money. I was hesitant to use one of my old coils because it was stored in bad conditions, but I finally settled on this one because it was very bad. I couldn't finish a hand-sewn 3 inch pillow without…

Pros
  • 100% COTTON: Extra long staple cotton gives a smoother yarn with less lint.
Cons
  • I don't remember

My car loves this thread almost as much as I do.

My favorite cotton yarn in the best shade of pink I could find. Amorous. When I first bought this thread I wasn't expecting much because I was just starting to look at cotton thread options. When I first used it, my sewing machine (Brother SQ9185) pretended to be waiting for this thread. Switching to other threads made my machine grumpy and I was very disappointed in rethreading and adjusting the tension. And because of the knotted nests, my projects were difficult to complete without a lot of…
