The best lifting brush for watercolor paints!

Great brush to add color to watercolors. I have already bought three of these for artist friends. Great buy and works!

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Protection

Reliable brush!

This brush lived up to expectations and the quality delivered was the same as when I bought it from a college bookstore ten years ago. Expert brushes like this have a nice feel and hold acrylic paint well. I do not recommend them for latex paint.

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Doubtful

Does the job if you're careful.

Works great, but be careful, otherwise you'll scratch the paper. I've used this on the Arches, Strathmore and Bee 140 cold presses, it's too rough to use with the Bee. If I'm not careful, I might end up wiping the paper from Strathmore and the Arch too. But it does the job. I just need to learn restraint.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • So far, so good

Excellent brush for lifting watercolors

I have only used this brush for lifting watercolors from cotton paper. The soft taklon allows you to blend and lift the pigment without damaging the paper - I used 140lb hot pressed watercolor paper. The brush is easy to clean and keeps its shape. So far I have not regretted the purchase and can only recommend it.
