No belt squeaks Ideal for belts, hoses and pulleys

Not a good product but the answer to squeaks. We returned it. Made it a little shorter. I bought the same size at a local auto parts store for $15 more and it put 210,000 miles on the '06 Odyssey with no problems.

Pros
  • Provides height and shear strength
Cons
  • Expensive

2006 Honda Ridgeline

My mechanic installed it and said it looks good. So if he likes it, I like it ๐Ÿ‘Œ. My 2006 Honda Ridgeline 3.5L V6 has only done 68,000 miles but I wanted to replace the timing belt, water pump and all those internal parts so I got a new belt as well.

Pros
  • Aftermarket multi V-belt precision engineered for perfect fit, form and function with true OE pedigree
Cons
  • I'll keep silent

The belt in my 2004 Accord was making a lot of noise, I thought I had a bad bearing as the noise only went away for a short time after changing the belt. Everything was removed with this belt, but the sound did not come back. If your 2004 Accord has a noisy belt, this is your answer.

Pros
  • Meets SAE specs
Cons

Better than stock belts.

As others have said this belt is the perfect replacement and reduces noise coming into the cab from the engine bay. Installed when changing the timing belt on my 2004 Honda Accord V6, the belt fit right in. Honda asked more for the stock OEM belt, it's quieter and the quality is as good as for.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Problems

Good for replacement

Good replacement for my 2006 Acura MDX ribbed belt. I replaced my old one after my tensioner got noisy. Looks sportier than the original belt. My only concern is that if your pulley is making noise, replace the pulley first. Take a short garden hose and place one end over your ear and the other end over each coil. The one with the most noise is the worst. You can also use a stethoscope. You don't want a bad pulley to give you problems in the future.

Pros
  • Straight ribbed design widely recognized by professional repair techs

Engine compartment squeaking quickly fixed

I thought one of the bearings had failed because of the squeaking coming and going. Replacing the belt was the solution and I figured it was the problem because when I splashed water on it the squeaking stopped. The old belt still looked good, but I think it was a good 50k+ in and stretched. This belt has proven to be of good quality and I have driven it about 1000 miles and the noise has not returned.

Pros
  • Precision engineering and testing
Cons
  • old

Belt squeaks horribly within 100 miles

I installed a new tensioner and this belt on a 2006 Acura MDX that was chirping and squeaking. I thought I could still hear the occasional chirp but this was much better. After about 100 km of driving, there was a terrible squeak again. I tried the water trick with the strap to see if it was the strap that was causing the squeak. I tried the 303 aerospace protection on the belt which only lasted a couple of days. I finally have a real Acura belt, which unfortunately only costs $70. Theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New design and compound improves durability for longer, quieter rides
Cons
  • Some bugs

As good or better than the original

I recently purchased Continental V-ribbed belts. good or better than original belts or similar belts from other leading manufacturers. I recently replaced the strap on my 2012 Kia Sportage. The strap I received was the right size and fit perfectly! You can pay a little more for Continental parts, but in my opinion they make for a quality product that's worth the extra cost. So far I haven't had any problems with any of their products. I will probably buy Continental V-ribbed belts again in theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 6 rib, 84.0 inch V-ribbed belt
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
