Continental Cross 700X32 47C Bicycle Bundle Review

They had a couple of bruises, one came loose at the seam and the other blew air out of the tip because it wasn't screwed in tight. I may have received a bad batch but am very disappointed with how they failed.

Much easier than repairing a roadside flat (in the summer sun...), putting on a fresh tube and then fitting another later. Of course it's a bit heavier than a patch kit, but the choice is yours. Conti makes great tires and tubes. I rarely had a flat tire and never had a puncture. May you have the same luck. 🙂 Bon voyage...

much better than the previous tube set so far. 150 km driven and everything is fine. Previously installed with toffee liners and no flats. If you live in a desert area, there are small spikes everywhere, even if you can't see them. So far, so good. You may want to pull the rods out and lubricate them with silicone grease so there aren't very small air leaks. Can't stop them without help

I bought these 42mm Conti-Presta valve tubes in sizes 700/32-47. The Conti box contained WTB 700/38-45 tubes with standard (short) Presta stems. The first tube I used seemed right, but the other 3 from the box didn't fit in the box. The pipes are bulky, but I can work. The stems were too short to even pierce my aero rims. Don't buy this.

What I like about it is that it has a washer that you can use to secure the valve stem to the rim. What I definitely don't like is the valve tip unscrewing. If you're traveling and have an apartment and use a CO2 cartridge for refilling, there's a good chance that the part of the valve that screws on will get stuck (freeze) and then the tip of the valve will come loose when you fill the CO2 -Unscrew the mechanism and all the air will escape. And of course you used up the entire CO2 cartridge…

I wanted to write this review because there were some terrible reviews about camera explosions etc when I was looking to buy cameras. Maybe they were bad. Set of tubes but I thought these tubes were excellent. The Presta valves are very well designed and well installed. Screw on the dust caps well and tighten at the end. They hold the pressure for at least a couple of days. I check them every three days or more often and they only lose about 5-7psi from 60psi and 65psi. Great cameras and I can…
