I'm from New Mexico so I don't know black chili but these tires are hot! They roll smoothly, shedding debris and rocks like an impregnable fortress of smooth driving. Just an industrial basic flat as I passed a bad construction site but other than that I have 3 months trouble free and confident journey ahead of me. ALWAYS INFLATE TO RECOMMENDED PSI AND CHECK PRESSURE VERY FREQUENTLY. Many people complain of dips that seem to happen ten times when your blood pressure falls due to inattention…

I bought this tire to replace my front tire. My previous Michelin Lithium front tires. 2, began to show some wear. I went to the nearest bike shop and checked some tires. I went back to the Revain website, did some research and decided to give it a try. I had never ridden Continental tires but most of the reviews were good so I decided to give it a try. This Grand Prix tire (no number) is a compromise tire for the non-racer enthusiast, but also doesn't want bulletproof, heavy tires for slow commuting. It's essentially a Gatorskin 180 TPI shell with a single layer of PolyX Breaker…

Very happy with these tires and tubes

Skip the last paragraph for a quick review. Tire ratings can be difficult because you don't know key information about the tester: how much they weigh, what PSI they run on tires, how they service tires, what type of roads are in their area, whether the roads are clean or dirty with glass and metal, where they live, what their skill level is, etc. So take this as the experience of one person who has driven and raced these tires and has been very happy with them. (FWIW I weigh 150 lbs, run 90…
