Garbage. Very disappointed.

Purchased 23rd January 2020 Works great, holds pressure, automatic releases work as they should. Will be updated. UPDATE: 10/20/2020 Relief valve fires at 90psi every time. I push the valve back and it blows like a clock at 90psi. I am changing my rating to ONE STAR. Very disappointed. The original safety valve was older than me (35) and never had a problem. I checked the compressor from top to bottom and decided to replace the relief valve. Can nobody else make high quality, durable parts?

Good price but sticks sometimes

I bought this to replace the original valve on my Husky air compressor. The original valve spring did not close the valve after loosening the pull ring. This valve costs about half that of a factory replacement valve. So the price is the biggest advantage. It is also much smaller than the original valve but has more CFM. A major downside is that it can be sticky at times: it doesn't always close when you loosen the collet at high pressure (tested at 175psi); it feels like there is a little…

Good Relief Valve - Works - Brass body looks flimsy

This is a good little relief valve that is essential for any pressure vessel. This one will get the job done and is within my tank's certification range. I used this to upgrade my ASME certified 150psi working pressure tank to 175 to match my compressor. This valve opens at 200 psi. It was difficult to remove the old valve from the regulator manifold because the tank manufacturer used a blue thread sealant to prevent leaks. The body of this type of 1/4" valve is very delicate and must be…
