Upgraded 6x10 Tilt Control and Gas 🪑 Lift for Office Chair - Replacement Tilt Control Mechanism Review

Not very strong or just cheap metal used. It's been 10 months and it's now a pandemic so what can I do? It cracked in circles at the weld.

I noticed that after about a month and a half (maybe less) my chair started to tilt. The hesitation grew worse. Today I got sick enough to find a way out. I would give it less stars but since March I have gained weight (250 lbs). I'll take some of the blame.

Perfect. Went like clockwork. I need this new pump base because I couldn't remove the gas bottle from the original chair base when it came time to replace it. The cost of this base + $20 pump was less than the cost of a new chair. If your chair is still good, save the environment and don't throw it away! It was easy to install. Make sure you measure first, I thought it might be too short to fit my Office Depot executive chair, but it was perfect.

It's easy to mount just 4 bolts from the original part and put on the gas spring cylinder. The first time I leaned back in my chair I heard a crackle, I don't weigh that much for the part to break like that, now it tilts to the right and I have to balance to keep it from failing completely. the original part has replaced it. I have already ordered a heavier replacement from another supplier. Another provider gives a lifetime guarantee. It is not guaranteed, do not buy it.

Needed an OEM base plate replacement on my Merax, a larger relative that exceeded the carrying capacity bent the original and I couldn't get it. come back after many tries. I bet on it and to be honest I'm very pleasantly surprised. It took me about 10 minutes to take the old one off and put the new one on. This one works as well or better than the original and fits perfectly. I didn't have to adjust the holes or do anything special, just took the old one off and put the new one on. 10/10 would

The recliner worked great and was installed and used daily for several months. The dimensions shown are correct and the only problem was getting the gas tube out of the old sloping base. I scoured YouTube for ideas and the best part was tapping the old base with a hammer. I had to remove the gas line from the wheelbase and note the order of the bearings and washers as my gas line was in good condition.
