Great product. Worked well with WiiU. When paired with the WiiU, kids can play Minecraft in split screen. The product is not an original Ninetindo WiiU controller, but it works just as well. I recommend this product.

We ordered these for our family - the price was right and I didn't want to pay for real Wii U Nintendo controllers. They work great - there's one that's a bit sticky when you move right, but I just give it to my son so I can beat him in Super Smash Bros or MarioKart. LAUGH OUT LOUD

I never got much use out of it. I don't play much, so I managed to really use it for a couple of hours before realizing that one of the joysticks wouldn't connect. That was of course a few months after the purchase. I took it apart and found that the base of the stick was broken.

I mainly use my Wii-U to watch Netflix (I bought this for my kids a while ago but they have now replaced it with other consoles.) My old one stopped working so I decided to replace it with this controller. However, it cannot be used as a Wii U movie streaming controller. I believe it can only be used for Wii only functionality.

EDIT: We have had this remote for almost a year now. I bought it in January 2017 and it still works just as well as the first time. Great product at a great price. It works just as well as the original Wii U remote at half the price. It was very easy to sync with the system. My boys loved it because now they can play multiplayer games together.

So for starters it mostly works as intended. The battery life seems good, the buttons are mostly responsive with a success rate of about 99%. Well, the buttons are fine, the battery is fine and the overall shape of the controller is good. This controller starts to have problems when you get to the analog sticks. I don't like them at all, they are not very sensitive, they feel awful when they move and pressing them is like trying to press on a rock. This is an OK controller if you can compromise for a lower price. Compromise #1: Doesn't work or doesn't work like the original Wii U Pro controller. It's very tight, but the joysticks aren't as smooth and the fit and finish is a little off. You can feel where the front and back are not aligned at the same height.
