So better prepare all sizes

Bought a new truck as described and needed a selection of trailer balls to hand. You never know what you're going to get in this store, so better be prepared for all sizes.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Available in white only

Still works well in the outside accessory

Got these for the hitch for my Kubota tractor. So far they are fine for hauling my 16ft tractor, 28ft RV and old utility trailer. Nothing high speed or super stressful, but they get the job done.

  • Absolute Legend
Cons

Necessary! for external accessories

If you have a truck and occasionally tow various trailers, this is what you need. Changing balls is so easy you'll need a stick or fingers. Leave the set in the storage box so no one can steal it, and in 30 seconds you'll be ready to pull the next charm.

Pros
  • Probationary period for one year
Cons
  • Disappearance

What I Need Best in Hardware

is exactly what I was looking for. I had a similar set before. Quality, fit and functionality are first class. Lubrication and proper cleaning of parts will help keep it that way. I would highly recommend them to anyone who owns and uses multiple trailers with different sized balls.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Volume

Reduces the crap in your truck.

We use the stainless steel version for our tow trucks at work so I had to buy it for personal use. I don't move pendants that often outside of work, so the nickel plating works well for me. If you use it a lot, I recommend the stainless steel version! three? Yes, please.

Pros
  • External Accessories
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

The quality of the last purchase does not match previous purchases

I have 3 of these, I have had a set for a long time and I like it very much. The quality of my most recently purchased balls does not change that easily. My best guess at a glance is that the stock is out of spec and failed quality control. All three balls have the same symptom, which leads me to suspect a shaft.

Pros
  • Equipment
Cons
  • There are defects

6 months failed.

I very often pull several trailers with my truck. I bought this convertible ball (along with adjustable traction) so I didn't have to worry about carrying around 20 different combinations of bars and balls. I've basically just towed a trailer for the past few months. I haven't had to remove the 2-5/16" ball in the last few months. I was very surprised when I tried to remove the ball to change to 2" and it didn't move. The pin on the 2-5/16" ball does not move. I've tried penetrating grease, BFH

Pros
  • Trailer accessories
Cons
  • I don't like it that much, everything is fine
