Aquarium water turned brown

From all the rave reviews I was very pleased to have purchased this product but the excitement was short lived. These filters have been in my aquarium for a week. now, and they haven't done anything positive for my tank. In fact, all of my aquariums have deteriorated with these filters. I double checked each one to make sure the UV lamp was on, as was she. I checked the flow on all of them. I even have this in a 29 gallon tank and my water has gone from almost clear to brown. I'm not sure if…

Clear all year round! - Water Pump Accessory

My attic gets a lot of sun so algae is a constant struggle in my 60 gallon. In September, the sun made direct contact with my aquarium during the day when I was not at home. I came home to a blooming explosion and kiwi-sangria-like water. Closing the blinds and a massive water change couldn't keep it going. Works incredibly well!

26 gallon (24 x 20 x 14) front Fluval tank included. I used live active gravel in a well planted tank and raced it from mid August to early October before adding the fish. There are two pieces of wood between the stones. Designed as a public aquarium for Apistogramma Boreli Opal, they have been difficult to find. My aquarium will soon be complete when I add a trio of these: 6 Celebes Rainbowfish, a pair of Varneri Rainbowfish, a pair of Flagfish, 4 juvenile longfin pygmy catfish and 3 stunning…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities

  • The list will be long.

UV filter cleaned the water in 2 weeks

Photos of a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium (cichlids). Background information: The aquarium was installed over the course of five and a half years. I do 20% water changes about every 2-3 months (to lower nitrate levels). I regularly check for nitrates, nitrites, general hardness, alkalinity, pH. The aquarium is one of the sturdiest and healthiest of my experience (several dozen personal freshwater aquariums over decades, I also had a pet store); However the water has recently become cloudy which
