Most disappointing cookware purchase

As avid home cooks we needed new cookware to replace the high quality Caphalon set that we have been very happy with for years. We were aware of the potential health and safety concerns associated with Teflon and knew that despite ongoing technological improvements, we would not repurchase any Teflon-coated cookware. After carefully examining all currently available products, we have chosen the Cooks standard. We have relied on the information provided by the manufacturer and numerousโ€ฆ

If you have trouble with this, you are doing something wrong!

I have been using these for a few years now and I have to say they are the nicest stainless steel pots and pans I have ever used. I grew up on my mom's Saladmasters, used some of the "expensive is good" stuff, and I'm here to tell you that if there's anything better, it's not going to be $5 better, let alone around Hundreds of dollars is better. These are high quality cookware, heavy but not too heavy, with handles that are longer than average but not too long. Minimal hum at high levels onโ€ฆ

Excellent value for money and quality. starter kit.

After we bought our first house, I decided I needed some solid cookware. We've always bought dishes from retailers like Walmart. Yes, tableware has always been much cheaper, but for a long time it was not enough. Now that we were in our new home, I wanted something that I thought would last a while, but something that wouldn't ruin the little bank we had left after investing $40,000 at closing . After reading many reviews and finding a respectable deal, we settled on Cook's Standard. At firstโ€ฆ

Same quality as Le Creuset but better design than All-Clad!

Rating: Standard 10 piece stainless steel cookware set from Cooks. I've wanted three-layer stainless steel cookware for a long time and never knew how much premium people are willing to pay for an all-clad. I was very happy to find this brand - got a 10 piece set and an 11" fryer - back then it was cheaper to buy it separately than to buy a 12 piece set which includes (I think now I buy a 12 piece set item - best value for money). The sets offer fantastic value for money, although theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

They seemed (to me, a newbie who did a little research on kitchen utensils before buying and buying) They seemed great value for money, offering some better features at an affordable price. It seems my judgment was correct as this set cooks great! I've cooked in nonstick aluminum pans in the past and I'll admit there's a bit of a learning curve to using stainless steel and a mess, in my case overheating/oil burning when frying some vegan shrimp (they turned out to be very tasty anyway) . !)โ€ฆ
