A very handy way to enjoy pottery

I know there are reviews about the performance of this device or how it works. But our 6 year old daughter loved it. I remember working on the potter's wheel in high school and making cups and bowls is not very easy and they break pretty easily. However, with this set, I love the creativity with which they incorporated a dome shape in the center. It's a really handy way to make it easy and fun to use. My 9 year old daughter loves it!

This is a fairly inexpensive toy and I've read the reviews so I wasn't expecting much. BUT my daughter was able to complete one of the projects 100% on her own from start to finish and absolutely loved it. The instructions for the shell speaker she created said it had to be sprayed with 10–12 jets of water at a time, which was not enough. She had to constantly spray the bowl with water during molding and ended up using most of the water from the included spray bottle. Sometimes there were…

Nothing like the 'real thing' but still cute

We are incredibly 'tricky' housewives and as a seasoned potter I knew this would be a great starting point for my 6 year old to hopefully learn to love what I've loved for decades. I wanted to like this set. I really have, to be honest. and since I got this from Spin Master for free for an honest review, I took it as a win, win, win! Here's the first loss.
