My best friend makes the best drinks ever. I love it when she makes martini. I gather all the ingredients and she does the bartending and garnishing of the glasses. This shaker is perfect for mixing drinks. It is well designed so there will be no spillage. I wash it by hand although I assume it can be washed in a dishwashing machine. To avoid seeing water drops, make sure you use a dish towel to dry it off.

Listen to the other reviews about how hard it is to remove to cover.The item is thicker gauge steel than the old no name cocktail shaker I used to use and will undoubtedly last longer.This also means that you can’t strike it with your palm to break the seal and unstick the lid. The reviews about it being impossible to remove are accurate. I needed to use my ice mallet (and sheared off an edge) to dislodge the lid to wash it properly.Will be returning and getting a Boston tin on tin shaker.

Look, I'll be upfront here. I don't mix many drinks, so my experience here is somewhat limited, and I don't have a large sample size of products with which to compare this item. Might have a faulty shaker, but absolutely impossible to take the lid off. Took 2 men and a screwdriver to pry it off. Normally there is some resistance with new shakers, but not this much.

Really like that this is a little larger than most and it is a heavy gauge material. Has a very solid feel and chills perfectly.

I actually bought this as a gift for my d-i-l and she loves it. It is very good quality and well made, also the color is amazing. I would buy this brand again if need arose.

It's too heavy! The antique copper has 0.02ponds, but weighs 480 grams! The capacity is also stated as 530 ml, but only 17 ounces have arrived. I bought gold, but weighed 460 grams. The notation is 0.5ponds. Why is it so heavy? About 300 grams is the easiest to use. Barfly is a hit.The strainer part is very difficult to fit and does not fit straight.
