This mattress cover is well packaged and easy to open. It took about an hour for it to fully open into its shape, which is normal. I bought a larger (10″) memory foam mattress for another bed and it took about the same amount of time to fully expand. This topper is very comfortable and relieves back and hip pain. I read so many reviews trying to find something that would make our mattress feel better. I finally decided on this product. It's hard enough to give a lot of support. It hasn't intruded like a few complaints about other brands. Well made, nicely packaged. This is a really good product that reinvented our old mattress.
